Emergency relief programsPerennial droughts and the conflict in Somalia has disrupted their livelihoods and disenfranchised the people of Somalia. Water, sanitation and good hygiene practices are intertwined. Water is an important commodity that is scarce in Somalia. Our program delivery puts emphasis on the provision of safe portable water for families and the livestock. Our activities in this area include;
(a) Development and rehabilitation of water catchments, shallow wells and boreholes.
(b) Construction of sanitation facilities and
(c) Training on good hygiene practices.
